Musical couple

If you haven’t see this yet you got to listen. In my opinion the husband takes the show. It is very entertaining and the husband is hilarious. He actually sings “Living on a free tank of gas” to Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer!” They are also very talented. There is a second video clip where they are actually on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and sing with the band. You would think they were pros. Just go to You Tube and type in pumpcast news. The name of the video is Pumpcast News, part 3 – The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Enjoy.

Vader did you know?

Some of you might not know but I am a huge Star Wars fan for all kinds of reason but the biggest is the transformation of Darth Vader. I also dig R2D2, my favourite droid!

I found this on another blog and I just had to share it with you. It is a spin off a popular Christian song from my childhood. If you have seen the Star Wars movies you will see many of the scenes and catch the humour in the song. Enjoy.

Sun screen

This is a cute picture of what the kids did to combat the sun being in their eyes as we drove in the van. The blue blanket is Shawn and the red one is Faith. The blankets are from daycare and we take them home every weekend to wash so they are clean for Monday morning and the rest of the week. I just happened to have these blankets in the van.

Shawn & praying

Every night the kids and I (and De-Ann) have a number of things we do before we put the kids down to sleep. We call it the night time routine. One of those things is praying with the kids. When they were much younger either De-Ann or myself would pray now that they are older and understanding about praying, they both pray. We always hold hands with the kids as we pray and they know they need to close their eyes and be quiet when someone else is praying.

The other night as Shawn and I were praying and holding hands (as we usually do) he let go of one of my hands and next thing I know I am holding hands with one of his furry friends (Puppy). I momentarily opened my eyes and Shawn had taken his Puppy and put him between us where Shawn was holding one paw and I was holding the other. As to say “Puppy needs to pray too Daddy.”
