Potty trained

As many of you know Faith is now fully potty trained. Yay! Throughout the process it has been interesting, to say the least. We have had a lot of accidents, puddles on the floor, wet pants, and crying. One thing Faith can’t stand is standing (or sitting) in wet clothes. Well, neither do we, right?!

We got through it finally just before Christmas. Now we have to get her to get out of bed at night or in the early morning to go to the bathroom on her own. Then we are in trouble because Faith will be free to roam all over the house any time she wants. Yikes!

Just recently Faith has gone back to daycare and since then she has stopped using the special seat on our toilets at home. The reason is because at daycare she is using toilets with no special seats, just regular seats but Faith doesn’t know they are child toilets.

Anyway Faith has started to not use the seat / lid at all anymore. She uses the step stool to get up onto the toilet and sit on the bowl with her feet dangling. Today she was sitting on the toilet bowl and she screamed out “Daddy I’m sitting here” as if to say “if you’re looking for me, I’m here Daddy.”

So glad she is potty trained now, Shawn’s next.
