Christmas 2011 part 1

I know, I know Christmas is over and we are into the near year. But I didn’t get a chance to share with you all that happened during our Christmases celebrations. Yes, you heard me correct. We have a number of celebrations. And at each one the kids were spoiled!

Our first Christmas celebration was with Opa and Aunt Joy in Brantford. The kids were so looking forward to see Opa so much that Faith couldn’t contain herself, she kept telling Shawn where we were going that day. Faith even said at one occasion “Shawn, it’s Opa-time!”

We spent a few hours opening up gifts, talking and playing with the kids. As a family we gave Opa and Aunt Joy our home-made family calendars. They loved them, of course. They gave us a picture of my Dad and Mom and a book about raising Boys. As you can see from the pictures below we were very thankful for the thoughtful gifts. Faith even recognized Oma (my Mom who passed away) in the picture we were given. She also blew her a kiss. At the end of our visit the kids started to take interest in my Dad’s computer. They actually looked like they knew what they were doing. haha. Check out the pictures below.

Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for rookie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
