Three Christmas Eves ago…

I remember what I was doing 3 Christmas Eves ago….saying good-bye to my Mom (or Oma to the kids).

Christmas Eve 2009 at 5:30am Mom passed away. Then the day became a whirlwind of activity from going to the cemetery to going to the funeral home and arranging the funeral and purchasing everything that was needed. It was a very high stress day and many of the family members felt it. But the person we all were concerned for was Dad. I tried my best to keep Dad out of all the meetings and we as the kids took on the responsibility to make sure everything was taken care of, right down to the flowers. My brothers and sisters were awesome and we really showed we can work together even in a very stressful and sad circumstance.

On this very joyous occasion for most, keep in mind many people have lost someone very close to them or someone in their life is very sick or even worse they are arranging a funeral today. So when you celebrate the coming of Christ say a prayer for those who are mourning today.

And remember: Jesus died for us so that we can live together with him, whether we are alive or dead when he comes. 1 Thessalonians 5:10

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Ie. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Cheers

The issue you are talking about doesn’t happen with anyone else. I have had a number of people check into this issue and no one has reported the same issue. It might be your browser. Try using Safari (Mac) or Firefox (PC). Hope that helps.
