Our “spoiled” kids

Our kids are being spoiled for Christmas this year by all our friends and family.

A few examples are people who have “adopted” our kids have either shown up in the past few weeks with gifts or they have told me they have gifts to give to our kids.

A humorous example is the custodian at our church, who loves our kids and they love him back, asked the other day if our kids were doing anything tonight. I quickly responded with “ya, Faith is going on a date and Shawn is meeting some friends at the mall to catch a movie!” We both laughed because our kids are three and a half and almost two.

He showed up tonight and gave our kids a one-of-a-kind piggy bank with their names on them and unique painted items on each one. The kids like them so much that they got upset when we wanted to put them away before they broke them. What a fantastic gift and so personal and thoughtful. These gifts will last much long than a simple toy. A huge “thank you” Uncle DJ!
