Ministry Fair
This past Sunday our church had a ministry fair to showcase our children and student ministries. One of the many things that was offered was a jumping castle for kids to play in. Below are a number of videos of both Faith and Shawn enjoying the jumping castle.
The video above shows Faith and Shawn having fun but eventually they bang heads. And we all know how hard his little head is and how much it hurts when we get hit by it. haha.
Also there was a table where kids could get their faces painted. First Faith got her face painted with DJ (a friend at our church)–identical butterflies. Then Shawn got a star put on his cheek, nice and simple, not too extravagant, just like Shawn. Here are a few picks of the three of them.
Oh ya, the reason for the ministry fair is to hopefully get more volunteers and let everyone in the church see all the minstries available for both children and students. I believe it was a very successful fair. A huge thanks goes to Donnette and all her volunteers for a fantastic job.
Cool to not cool
This is a sure way to get your teen to stop wearing his pants halfway down his backside. Anytime a parent does something the teens are doing, no matter how cool, it looses it’s “coolness!” hahaha!
We did it!
We have now not only reached 6000 hits, visits but we exceeded it. Now I guess our next milestone is 7000 or maybe let’s go for the big number: 10,000!
Can’t believe it’s been a year…actually more
I was just checking to see when I started blogging and it has been over a year now since I wrote my very first post in this blog site. The date was Sep 10, 2010 where I announced to everyone I was starting a blog finally after much research. I found out how easy it was to set up the site and starting blogging. And this post marks my 189th post, WOW!
It has been a fun endeavour and I look forward to many more years to posting on this blog. Please look for more posts each day as I am going to at least write one post a day.
