Meet “Baby Shawn”

Most of you already know our little family is finally complete with the addition of Shawn or as Faith likes to call him “Baby Shawn.” For the weekend of his very first visit to our home we had a get together of some of our closest friends from our current church to hangout, eat, play, frolick, and get to know Shawn. Oh ya, it was also the weekend of Faith’s birthday so we threw in a cake and some presents for her.
It was a fantastic time and Shawn wasn’t as shy as we thought he would be. He even sat on the lap of one of our friends that is a Grandpa himself. Shawn played with Faith on our newly acquired climber/slide (thanks Donnette!) and enjoy some food, but mostly sat as close to me as possible. I guess I am his safety blanket. haha. Oh ya, we finished off our afternoon with a small tour of our almost-finished basement.
