Forgiveness of a child

Even when you get upset with your child, at least with Faith, she always hugs me to say “that’s okay Daddy.”
I think sometimes I need to have that kind of forgiveness. The kind that doesn’t hold a grudge, doesn’t remember wrongs or brings them up when I do or say the same thing again. The forgiveness of my little daughter is so precious and sincere. I wish I could show that kind of forgiveness. I’m so thankful I have a little girl to remind me how to truly forgive.
But the forgiveness that is the ultimate is the forgiveness God bestowed upon us all when he sent his only Son to die in our place, rise again all to forgive us of our sins. That’s unconditional forgiveness. Thank you God!
However I’m very thankful for a practical example of forgiveness from my little 2 year old daughter. I truly feel forgiven when she gives me a big hug.
Thanks Faith for always forgiving Daddy when he was in the wrong!
